When we entered this place around 19:30, it was very hot inside, and we were the first table for dinner. They hadn’t turned on the air conditioner and tried to give us a fan, which didn’t work at all. So, we had to ask them to turn on the air conditioner. After that, we had a good dinner. The food is simple but good. I had some beef that wasn’t on the menu (strangely), and it was very juicy and satisfying. The kid loved the pizza, and the spicy supplì was really tasty. I recommend it if you like spicy food!

After a full day of touring Villa Adriana, Villa D’Este and Villa Gregoriana my husband and I were very much ready for a good meal. On the walk back toward our car we came upon Dalen Trattoria Pizzeria. We were promptly seated and cared for by the server. We had a delicious appetizer of zucchini flowered stuffed with anchovy and cheese, battered and fried…absolutely delicious!! We then shared a Napoli Pizza and each had salads. Food, service and setting were outstanding. The Tivoli city views were gorgeous from where we were seated!! Highly recommended!!

I went to Dalen to have dinner with my girlfriend. It was amazing! From our table we could see the sunset, which was surreal. The pizza we got was probably the best pizza we had in Italy. We got a rolled up pizza with salmon. The prices are good and reasonable. The menu was very extensive, you could choose between rolled pizza, pizza with tomatoes, without tomatoes, calzones and so much more. The waiter was very very nice and even gave us a little tour to the wine room. He made us feel special and did his best to communicate with us in English! I would certainly reccomend this place to eat good food with a great view!
